The Border Counties Vintage Club – Festive Road Run – December 7th
Start Time: 4 PM
Start Location: Junction Yard, Ross Road, Abergavenny
The Border Counties Vintage Club is bringing holiday cheer to Abergavenny with their Festive Road Run! A convoy of vintage vehicles, beautifully decorated with fairy lights, will parade through the town’s streets. Santa himself will be on the route, waving to onlookers.
Route Highlights:
- Starting at Ross Road, the parade will pass through Holywell Crescent, Lower Castle Street, Tudor Street, Brecon Road, and many more local spots before ending at Castle Street Car Park.

Brecon Cathedral Christmas Fair – December 7th

Celebrate the season at Brecon Cathedral’s annual fair. Highlights include:
- Performances by the Brecon Cathedral Choir, Brecon Town Band, and Builth Wells Male Voice Choir.
- Santa’s Grotto and a bouncy castle for the kids.

Brecon Mountain Railway Update
Brecon Mountain Railway have announced that due to damage caused by Storm Bert, the Santa Special trains are delayed until December 7th. The storm caused a landslip, and further stabilization work is needed to ensure safety.
The team is working hard to reopen, with extra services planned to accommodate bookings. If you’ve reserved a ticket, expect to hear from the team regarding rebooking or refunds.
